Quiet, Class-Leading Power at 200 HP

The Suzuki DF200A is a 2867 cc in-line four-cylinder four-stroke outboard rated at 200 hp across a 5500-6100 rpm full-throttle operating range, the top of Suzuki's Inline 4 line, which runs from 115 to 200 hp. Suzuki builds it around the large-displacement DOHC 16-valve powerhead, Suzuki Lean Burn Control, Variable Valve Timing, a Multi-Stage Induction System, the offset drive shaft and a user-adjustable Tilt Limit System.

Powerful and efficient. The DF200A is built around a 2867 cc in-line four-cylinder DOHC powerhead, one of the largest-displacement blocks in its class, and Suzuki targeted it to be one of the lightest four-strokes at its output rather than the heaviest. Variable Valve Timing and a Multi-Stage Induction System work together across the DF200A's full rpm range, and Suzuki's Lean Burn Control System leans the fuel mixture from low speed up into the cruising range for better fuel economy.

Easy to live with. Suzuki positions the crankshaft ahead of the drive shaft, moving the outboard's center of gravity forward for a more compact package and reduced vibration, and multi-point sequential electronic fuel injection keeps starting and throttle response consistent across conditions. A user-adjustable Tilt Limit System protects the boat and the motor by preventing the outboard from tilting past a set point. Every DF200A is available with mechanical or digital shift and throttle.

Built for saltwater. Suzuki's Anti-Corrosion System applies a specially formulated finish directly to the outboard's aluminum surface, which allows maximum bonding and helps protect the parts that are constantly exposed to saltwater. The DF200A is offered in Pearl Nebular Black or Cool White.
